The class is born from a desire to reach out to Olga’s yoga community and beyond to support people who are interested in yoga in living extraordinary and healthy lives! Yoga with Olga community class is designed to offer you an opportunity to experience the benefits of yoga and meditation for a very low cost, with an exceptionally experienced yoga teacher. The community yoga class is taught online via ZOOM.
 

All levels of fitness are welcome. No previous yoga experience necessary.

Yoga for Healthy Joints

Course Description: The yoga for healthy joints course is designed to bring your joints into optimal alignment and to guide them through a wide range of healthy movements in hatha yoga style. When working with the joints this carefully, you’ll also be strengthening your entire body and helping your spine to move more freely and without too much of a burden on the spinal column. Strong, flexible muscles around the joints will enhance the spine support and ease pressure on the vertebral discs and facet joints, which can limit osteoarthritis progression and the worsening of symptoms.

Deep Core Yoga Fundamentals

Course Description: In the Deep Core Yoga Fundamentals, you will be introduced to several yoga poses that will effectively and safely help to build abdominal strength and tone your waistline. The yoga poses that will be taught also help to strengthen your leg muscles and lower back. There is a close relationship between abdominal strength and lower back strength. The muscles in your lower back will also be challenged with the abdominal yoga poses. For that reason, each class ends with a yoga pose which has a releasing effect on the spine. The abdominal strength attained in this course will be very helpful in a number of beyond beginner and intermediate poses. 

Sun Salutations Fundamentals

Course Description:  Whether you're a beginning student or an advanced yogi, exploring Sun Salutations will improve your practice tremendously.  Sun Salutation is a series of poses that build the base of most yoga classes. Each pose is linked with your breath: inhale and extend, exhale to bend.   The Sun Salutation acts both as a warm-up for a full yoga class or can be practiced on its own for a complete yoga practice.  In this course, you you'll learn basic alignment in Sun Salutation postures, yoga poses "do's" and "don'ts," yogic ujjayi breathing, and many variations as well as modifications.
